This antenna is mast mountable and easily tunable. Perfect for someone looking for a base antenna to be used across a wide spectrum of radio bands.
Mounts on 1 1/2" diameter pipe.
This antenna should be mounted on a 8-12' long mast/pole. If longer or shorter, it may be difficult to tune the antenna for ideal SWR). For masts taller than 12', consider getting the PROTON99 antenna instead.

ProComm's Patriot base station antenna is for radio enthusiasts that enjoy operating across a wide spectrum of radio bands including: 27 MHz CB radio, SSB, AM, HF, amateur 28 MHz 10 meter band, and the 24 MHz 12 meter band. The Patriot is a popular base station CB antenna that can be adjusted for 10 or 12 meter radios. Simple installation and great performance make this antenna a favorite for stationary radio setups. A lighter weight solution than many competitors CB base radio antennas, the Patriot is an excellent addition to any CB or ham shack!

The ProComm PAT-12 Patriot is tuned by adjusting its threaded tuning rings at the base of the antenna. Unlike antennas that require cutting the whip, the PAT-12 is designed to be tuned by moving the rings up or down the threaded section.

Note: There is a transformer and capacitor system in the connector line that will show a continuity when testing the center lead and outer connector/shield wires.
